The Job:

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team. We are seeking a graphic designer passionate about creativity, collaboration, and solving problems through design. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, has previous design experience, and understands the digital design landscape.


The graphic designer will play a pivotal role in the creative process. Collaborating with the team, the graphic designer will shape the visual aspects of branding, websites, social content, client presentations, and other creative content.


The role requires a self-starter who brings an entrepreneurial mindset to their work. Our graphic designer brings strong communication skills, a desire to collaborate, and the ability to solve creative problems strategically. With an in-depth knowledge of the digital landscape, our designer can deliver a high-quality level of work that exceeds our client's expectations.

The Responsibilities:

  • Oversee design strategy and pitch creative ideas

  • Plan creative concepts by studying relevant information and materials

  • Create various graphics and layouts, such as logos, website mockups, social content, creative briefs, and other branded materials.

  • Utilize various tools, such as Indesign, Adobe, Photoshop, Canva, etc., to effectively complete projects.

  • Participate and present creative concepts to clients where appropriate

  • Coordinate with team members & other contributors to collaborate seamlessly

  • Display a keen eye for detail when reviewing all final concepts before delivering them to the client

  • Effectively break down projects utilizing company project management and planning tools to ensure transparency amongst the team

  • Synthesize client feedback to deliver exceptional creative work

The candidate:

  • Two or more years of relevant experience

  • A diploma in graphic design or a relevant field

  • Demonstrate graphic design skills through a strong portfolio

  • Proficient with required design and editing software such as Indesign, Adobe, Photoshop, Figma, etc.

  • A strong understanding of the digital landscape to strategically solve creative problems

  • A willingness and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate

  • Strong understanding or willingness to learn about Truth & Reconciliation recommendations, UNDRIP, and Indigenous cultures

The Salary: $35 per hour at 30 hours per week
