Digital Awareness Campaign
& Influencer Management

Every year, a city will experience seasonal changes, and as a municipality’s budget can only cover so much of the cleanup. When the City of Surrey, the third-largest city in BC, had to ask residents to clear snow, we were called in to help bring awareness to the public.
Our team worked to develop a target audience and tapped into their interests (football!). We partnered with the BC Lions marketing team to identify Surrey-based players that had a larger online following and created a campaign that was based on getting ready for the season.
The campaign was a success, receiving media attention from CTV and Global among others, and winning three Communicator Awards in 2019. Jamel Lyles has since become a City of Surrey ambassador and has worked on projects with the Marketing team since.
